About Susan Kim

Susan’s Background:
Susan has a background in education and communication which enables her to understand how each person learns and communicates. As a coach she utilizes this knowledge to focus on WHO you are and the results you really want. Her diverse experience also enables her to relate professionally as well as personally.

She supports businesses by bringing clarity to the vision of the company as well as aiding in developing strategies for realization of that vision.

She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Communication, Computing and Technology in Education. She has been trained as a coach through Coach University and Coachville.

Professional Experience:
Professionally, Susan has worked for the San Francisco Unified School District as a Program Coordinator for the Healthy Start program. She moved into the private sector where she developed her organizational and project management skills in companies like Tilia, Inc and EQE International. Her last corporate position was as Vice President of Operations for SF Digital Studio, a commercial digital photography studio in San Francisco.

Getting A Little More Personal:
Susan grew up in New York, on Long Island. After graduating from Columbia University, Teachers College, she moved to San Francisco, where she lived for 10 years. Currently she lives on Maui where she enjoys the quality of life that allows her to soak in the beautiful nature that encapsulates her every day. Outside of coaching she enjoys writing, experimenting with her yard, surfing, crafts and spending time with her husband, pet bird (Phineas) and pet dog (Tia).
